Browns & Titans Have “Strong Interest” In Hiring Peyton Manning For Front Office Role

According to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports, the Browns and Titans have “strong interest” in adding current Broncos QB Peyton Manning to their front office in the event he elects to retire after the season.

Both teams are reportedly preparing for major changes this offseason, but there could be other teams with interest in hiring Manning in a similar capacity to John Elway‘s role with the Broncos.

Even so, league sources have told La Canfora that the Browns and Titans remain the two teams to watch for his services as soon as he’s ready to move on.

Manning has ties to ties to Browns owner Jimmy Haslam, who is believed to have been interested in adding Manning to his front office for several years now.

It’s also worth mentioning that Manning went to the University of Tennessee and the Titans are already preparing to make major organizational changes.

There’s still a chance that Manning may want to take some time and get away from football before considering a front office or broadcasting role.

We’ll have more regarding Manning’s future as the news is available.
