Bills QB Tyrod Taylor’s Three-Year Deal Expected To Void Final Year After Tonight’s Game

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the Bills QB Tyrod Taylor‘s three-year contract is expected to void to just a two-year deal after tonight’s game.

By suiting up tonight, Taylor should ensure he plays 50 percent of the Bills’ snaps this year, which was required to void the final season of his contract.

This, of course, means that Taylor will be in a contract year next season, which could prompt the Bills to begin talks of an extension during the offseason.

Taylor, 26, three-year, $3.35 million contract that included just $1.2 million guaranteed with the Bills back in March. He’ll make a base salary of $750,000 this season and another $1 million in 2016.

This season, Taylor has appeared in seven games and thrown for 1,436 yards while completing 70.5 percent of his passes to go along with 11 touchdowns and four interceptions.
