The Dallas Cowboys waived RB Trey Williams on Monday, according to Rob Phillips.
Williams, 22, wound up signing on with the Redskins as an undrafted free agent out of Texas A&M a few days after this year’s NFL draft. He was unable to make the team’s 53-man roster coming out of the preseason, but was later added to their practice squad.
The Cowboys signed Williams off of the Redskins practice squad a few weeks ago.
Wiliams has yet to appear in an NFL game.
