Broncos Worked Out 16 Players Including QBs Bryn Renner & Seth Lobato

Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reports that the Broncos brought in 16 players for workouts on Tuesday including QBs Bryn Renner and Seth Lobato.

The rest of the players who worked out for Denver include: RB Ray Agnew, TE Brandon Barden, TE Alex Bienemann, OT Cameron Clear, WR Jace Davis, WR Antwan Goodley, WR R.J. Harris, Alex Hill, TE Dan Light, OT Cameron Jefferson, WR Jordan Leslie, WR Levi Norwood, OT Jack Rummells, and WR Demetrius Wilson.

Renner, 25, wound up signing on with the Broncos as an undrafted free agent out of North Carolina back in May of last year. However, he lasted just a few month in Denver before he was waived at the start of the 2014 season.

The Ravens later signed him to a future/reserve contract at the end of last season, but he was once again among their final roster cuts coming out of the preseason. Baltimore later added him to their practice squad before cutting him just a few weeks later.

Renner has tried out for a number of teams in recent weeks including the Jets, Giants, Panthers, and Bengals.

Renner has yet to appear in an NFL game.

Lobato, 23, signed with the Colts as an undrafted free agent out of Northern Colorado back in May of last year. He lasted close to a month with the Colts before he was cut and later signed by the Dolphins.

The Buccaneers elected to sign him to a future/reserve contract in January, only to waive him at the start of the regular season.

At Northern Colorado he threw for 8,090 yards while completing 56.6 percent of his passes to go along with 53 touchdowns and 34 interceptions.
