Cardinals Sign DB Justin Bethel To A Three-Year, $15M Extension

The Arizona Cardinals announced their three-year agreement with DB Justin Bethel on Saturday.

The Arizona Cardinals have signed DB Justin Bethel to a three-year contract extension worth $15 million, per Rand Getlin.

According to Getlin, Bethel’s new contract includes $9 million guaranteed and $1.8 million in incentives and escalators.

Bethel, 25, is a former sixth round pick pick of the Cardinals back in 2012. He was in the final year of his four-year, $2.214 million rookie contract that included a $114,224 signing bonus and stands to make a base salary of $660,000 for the 2015 season.

This year, Bethel has appeared in 11 games and recorded 18 tackle, one interception, a fumble recovery and five pass defenses for the Cardinals. Pro Football Focus has Bethel rated as the No. 25 cornerback out of 113 qualifying players.
