Chargers Place CB Brandon Flowers & DL Corey Liuget On Season-Ending I.R.

The San Diego Chargers announced a series of roster moves on Saturday including placing DT Corey Liuget and CB Brandon Flowers on season-ending injured reserve.

Flowers, 29, signed a four-year, $36.4 million contract that includes $20.5 million guaranteed with the Chargers back in March. He’ll make a base salary of $2.25 million this season and another $7.75 million in 2016.

Flowers totaled 33 tackles, one sack, four pass defenses and no interceptions for the Chargers over the course of 11 games.

Liuget, 25, is in the first year of his six-year, $58.219 million contract that includes $30.477 million guaranteed. He’ll make a base salary of $1 million and another $3 million in 2016.

His 2015 season comes to an end with him appearing in 11 games and recording 34 tackles and three sacks for the Chargers.
