Redskins Waive DB Trenton Robinson From I.R. With Settlement

The Washington Redskins waived DB Trenton Robinson from injured reserve with a settlement on Monday, according to the NFL transactions release.

Robinson had been dealing with a hamstring injury, which led to him being waived with the injury designation over a week ago. After clearing waivers, Robinson reverted to the injured reserve list.

Robinson, 25, is a former sixth round pick of the 49ers back in 2012. He spent a little over year in San Francisco before he was waived at the start of the 2013 season.

He briefly played for the Eagles before joining the Redskins later on in the 2013 season. Washington elected to bring Robinson back on a one-year deal this past March.

This season, Robinson appeared in nine games for the Redskins and recorded 51 tackles, an interception, and a pass defense.
