The Atlanta Falcons placed S William Moore on season-ending injured reserve with an ankle injury Tuesday, according to Jay Adams.
Moore, 30, is in the third year of his five-year, $29.512 million contract that includes $14 million guaranteed. He’ll make a base salary of $3.5 million this season and another $4.5 million in 2016.
His 2015 season comes to an end with him appearing in 11 games and recording 51 tackles, two interceptions, a forced fumble and four pass defenses for the Falcons. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 50 safety out of 86 qualifying players.
