Cowboys Waive CB Tyler Patmon

Todd Archer reports that the Cowboys have waived CB Tyler Patmon on Tuesday.

Patmon, 24, signed on with the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent out of Oklahoma State back in May of last year. He’s managed to make the 53-man roster in each of his first two years in the league.

Patmon is the second year of his three-year, $1.53 million rookie contract and stands to make a base salary of $510,000 this season and another $600,000 in 2016.

This season, Patmon has appeared in 11 games and recorded 13 tackles, six pass defenses and 26 kick return yards for the Cowboys. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 8 cornerback out of 116 qualifying players.
