NFL Notes: Daniel Adongo, Bills, Patriots, & Ravens

Daniel Adongo

• Former Colts LB Daniel Adongo is being investigated under the NFL’s personal conduct policy after police were called to his home in suburban Indianapolis, according to the The Associated Press.
• The Colts waived Adongo on Thursday.

Bills

Tyler Dunne of the Buffalo News there’s a “good chance” Bills veteran G Richie Incognito could land a lucrative contract during free agency and, possibly earn a trip to the Pro Bowl.

“It’s pretty special,” Incognito said. “It’s definitely something I set as one of my goals, to get back and play at that level. It’s exciting. I’m kind of nervous going into next week. I hope it all works out and that I do make it. So that’s it, I’m excited about this week and excited to hear what goes down.”

Incognito did say that he enjoys playing for the Bills, which could be a sign he’d like to re-sign with them next year.

“I love it up here. I really do,” Incognito said. “I love the attitude of the city. I love the attitude of the people, I love how they’re diehard Buffalo Bills fans through thick and thin. I love playing at The Ralph on Sundays. I know we look forward to a rowdy crowd that’s into it from the get-go. Kim and Terry Pegula have been great. I owe them and Doug and Rex a huge amount of gratitude. They definitely, them and my teammates all play into my psyche every day when I wake up.

“I want to prove them right. I want to do everything I can to be the best teammate I can be and the best professional I can be.”

Patriots

• Jeff Howe of the Boston Herald reports that Patriots WR Julian Edelman (foot) has been ruled out for Week 15.

Ravens

Ravens RB Justin Forsett says he’s ahead of schedule in his recovery from a broken arm.

“While the prognosis for my recovery was about six to eight weeks, I’m happy to report that because I also have wolverine in my blood, I will probably be back in four to five weeks,” Forsett wrote, via sportsblog.com. “I won’t be able to play of course – I’m on IR – but I’m a fast healer and normally come back earlier than expected…I hope this is no different.”
