The Buffalo Bills announced Tuesday that they’ve signed TE Jacob Maxwell to their practice squad.
The Bills’ practice squad currently consists of 11 players, which means they’ll need to make a corresponding roster move. Here’s what the unit looks like right now:
- TE Jacob Maxwell
- TE Blake Annen
- TE Marcel Jensen
- C Ronald Patrick
- DE Jerel Worthy
- DB Sammy Seamster
- WR Walter Powell
- DE Cedric Reed
- DB Merrill Noel
- G Cyril Richardson
- WR Dez Lewis
Maxwell, 24, also went undrafted out of Louisiana-Lafayette following the 2014 NFL draft, but was signed to a contract by the Lions. Since then, Maxwell has had brieft stints with the Dolphins and Bears before returing to the Lions in August of this year.
Unfortunately for Maxwell, he was among Detroit’s early roster cuts at the start of the season.
Maxwell has yet to appear in an NFL game.
