The New England Patriots announced Saturday that they’ve promoted WR Chris Harper to their active roster.
Harper, 21, signed on with the Patriots as an undrafted free agent out of California back in May, just days after this year’s draft. He was able to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason, but was later waived and signed to their practice squad.
New England promoted him to their active roster a few weeks ago. However, he was waived after losing a fumble during their game against the Broncos.
This season, Harper has appeared in three games and totaled 17 punt return yards.
