Steelers Worked Out 3 Players Including LB Marquis Spruill

Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reports that the Steelers worked out DB Ray Vinopal, LB Marquis Spruill, and DB Jacob Hagen.

Spruill, 24, has three years remaining on his four-year, $2,391,480 rookie contract and stands to make base salaries of $435,000, $600,000, and $690,000 over the next three years.

Spruill unfortunately was placed on season-ending injured reserve last August after he sustained an ACL tear.

The Falcons wound up waiving him before the start of the season.

Spruill has yet to appear in an NFL game.
