Adam Gase To Interview With Dolphins, Eagles & Browns In Coming Days

Update:

Dianna Marie Russini reports that Bears OC Adam Gase will interview with the Dolphins and Eagles in the coming days.

  • According to Russini, Gase will also interview with the Browns once their head-coaching search is underway.

Alex Marvez of FOX Sports is reporting that the Dolphins are expected to request an interview with Bears OC Adam Gase for their head-coaching vacancy.

  • Marvez adds that Gase is among the candidates Dolphins’ management hope to speak with after the 2015 regular season ends.

Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports reports that Bears OC Adam Gase should have a “robust” market for his services in the coming months.

According to La Canfora, the Dolphins and Browns have both done “extensive work” on Gase in recent weeks.

On top of that, the Eagles are expected to have interest in Gase as well, so it appears as though the chances of him being back as the Bears offensive coordinator are slim at this point in time.

Last year, many anticipated that Gase was likely to be a top head-coaching candidate. However, even after meeting with a number of teams, Gase wasn’t offered a head-coaching position and elected to join John Fox in Chicago.

Gase has done a great job this season working with QB Jay Cutler and getting him to take a step in his development, which is something a number of offensive coordinators had tried and failed at in recent years.

Beyond that, Gase has a lot of support from well respected players and coaches such as Peyton Manning.

We’ll have more regarding Gase and potential opportunities as the news is available.
