Dolphins

  • Andrew Abramson reports that Dolphins interim coach Dan Campbell wants to move on and will “almost certainly leave” the team, even though nothing is official as of now.
  • Dolphins owner Stephen Ross mentioned this past weekend that he would love to see Campbell stay in the organization, but this would ultimately be up to new HC Adam Gase.
  • Sources tells Abramson that Campbell is making the easy decision easy for Gase.
  • Abramson confirms reports that the Dolphins are are trying to land Cincinnati defensive backs coach Vance Joseph as their new defensive coordinator.

Packers

Rob Demovsky of ESPN reports that initial tests showed Packers WR Davante Adams avoided a major knee injury during their win over the Redskins.

It’s a little sore right now, but I think I’ll be fine,” Adams said of the injury.

It’s worth mentioning that he’ll have one less day to rehab his injury, seeing as the Packers will play the Cardinals on Saturday.

Patriots

  • Joe Amorosino reports that Patriots WR Julian Edelman (foot) has been cleared to play in the Divisional Round.
  • According to Amorosino, Edelman will wear a steel plate in his left shoe that is designed to prevent flexing and re-fracturing of his injured foot.

Steelers

Texans

Texans QB Tom Savage said that he’s “ready to go” next year and plans to compete for the starting job no matter who the team brings in.

“They can draft 12 quarterbacks,” Savage said, via HoustonTexans.com. “I am going to be ready to go. I am definitely excited about competing and that still falls under the category of controlling what I can control.
