Chiefs

  • Chiefs impending free agent ILB Derrick Johnson was asked him about his plans for next year, to which he responded: “I’m a Chief.” (Terez A. Taylor)
  • Joel Corry mentions that with the Chiefs rushing production, even without Jamaal Charles, it could lead to them approaching Charles about a pay cut.

Eagles

  • Jeff McLane points out that the Eagles still have to work out contract with new HC Doug Pederson.
  • However, the expectation is that it will get done over next day or two with a possible news conference coming on Tuesday.

Packers

Titans

  • Alex Marvez reports the Titans are expected to keep LB coach Lou Spanos, assistant OL Mike Sullivan, Dick LeBeau, assistant special teams Steve Hoffman.
  • Marvez adds that the Titans are set to hire former Jets special teams coach Bobby April for same position.
