Push Within NFL For Peyton Manning To Join Ownership Group & Purchase Titans

According to Jay Glazer of FOX Sports, there is a push within the NFL for Peyton Manning to join an ownership group to purchase the Titans.

There has been speculation for several months now that Manning could move on from the NFL next year and pursue an opportunity to either have a role similar to John Elway‘s with the Broncos or become part of an ownership group.

It’s worth mentioning that the Titans have maintained that they have no intention of selling team, and even told GM candidates as much during their recent search.

However, there are still concerns about the structure of the Titans’ ownership, and it sounds like there are some around the league who would like to see some changes made at some point in the near future.

Of course, all of this assuming that Manning is prepared to move on from the NFL, which happens to be something he has yet to announce.
