Adam Caplan of ESPN reports that the Colts are expected to hire Brian Schottenheimer as a quarterbacks coach in the coming days.

The Colts have been reworking their coaching staff the past few weeks after they elected to retain HC Chuck Pagano, but make some changes to his group of assistants.

Schottenheimer, 42, spent the 2015 season with the University of Georgia as their offensive coordinator and QBs coach.

He has worked for a number of teams including the Chiefs, Redskins, Chargers, Jets, and Rams. However, he’s probably most well known for his time as the Jets’ offensive coordinator from 2006-2011.

Working with Andrew Luck on an daily basis, obviously, has plenty of appeal for a coach looking to get back in the NFL.

We’ll have more regarding Schottenheimer joining the Colts sa the news is available.
