Jaguars Interviewing Cowboys DBs Coach Jerome Henderson For DC Job

Albert Breer reports that theĀ Jaguars are interviewing Cowboys DBs coach Jerome Henderson for their defensive coordinator job on Tuesday.

This comes just hours after the Eagles announced that they’ve hired Jim Schwartz as their defensive coordinator.

Jacksonville met with Schwartz in recent days regarding the position, but he ultimately elected to go in a different direction.

The Jaguars fired defensive coordinator Bob BabichĀ a week agoĀ after three seasons in Jacksonville.

Henderson, 46, began his coaching career with the Jets back in 2006. He spent three years in New York before departing to become the defensive backs coach for the Browns. Dallas elected to hire him in the same capacity in 2011 and he has remained in his current position since joining them.

We’ll have more regarding the Jaguars’ search for a new defensive coordinator
