Man of Year Award

The announced the three finalists for the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award on Sunday. the three finalists are: 49ers WR Anquan Boldin, Giants QB Eli Manning, and Saints TE Benjamin Watson.

Cowboys

  • Todd Archer reports that Steve Loney will move to tight ends coach for the Cowboys and Marc Colombo will serve as the assistant offensive line coach.
  • Joe Baker, who has an expiring contract, is expected to return as their safeties coach.
  • Archer mentions that TEs coach Mike Pope’s future is not clear.
  • DEs coach Ben Bloom, defensive staff assistant Turner West and offensive staff assistant Kevin Carberry are expected to be back with the team.

Falcons

  • Albert Breer reports that the Falcons are moving DBs coach Raheem Morris to wide receivers coach.

Panthers

  • Joel Corry mentions that if Panthers CB Josh Norman looking to break the bank, then his real target should be the contract signed by Jets CB Darrelle Revis, who received $48 million over the first three years of his deal.
