Raiders To Announce One-Year Deal To Play At Coliseum For 2016 Season

The Oakland Raiders reached a one-year deal to remain at the O.Co Coliseum for the 2016 season, according Albert Breer.

In the event the Chargers decline to relocate to Los Angeles, the option to join the Rams in L.A. would go to the Raiders for the 2017 season.

This shouldn’t come as much of a surprise considering that recent reports indicated this was likely the next move for the Raiders.

The Raiders wound up missing out the opportunity to move to Los Angeles after NFL owners decided to give the Chargers the first option to join the Rams in Ingelwood. Some believe the Chargers will still relocate to L.A. now that they have an agreement in place with the Rams.

Team owner Mark Davis has met with people looking to build a stadium in Las Vegas and has previously spoke to city officials in San Antonio, but it’s hard to say that either of these cities are plausible options for the Raiders.
