NFL Notes: LeSean McCoy, Cardinals, Giants, & Packers

LeSean McCoy

An attorney for Bills RB LeSean McCoy tells Vic Carruci of the Buffalo News that his client “did nothing wrong” in the nightclub incident that left two off-duty police officers hospitalized.

There still haven’t been any charges filed against McCoy, but a source close to the investigation tells Carruci that the DA’s office is likely to hold a news conference on Thursday to share their findings.

A source questioned the pace at which the investigation has progressed.

“It’s truly extraordinary to have this kind of a delay in this kind of case,” the source said. “It’s not a six-month investigation where there’s wire taps and surveillance and confidential informants placed inside of a drug organization. This is, essentially, a simple bar fight. And it raises all sorts of questions about the extent to which the prosecutor’s office is confident in the information that’s been provided them.”

Cardinals

Giants

Packers

  • The Packers have named Brian Angelichio TEs coach, Ejiro Evero defensive quality control coach, Luke Getsy WRs coach, David Raih assistant OL coach and Ben Sirmans RBs coach.
