Jeremy Lane Would Love To Be Back With Seahawks

Seahawks CB Jeremy Lane mentioned during an interview with Sirius XM NFL Radio that he would love to be back in Seattle next year if the situation was right.

Yeah, of course, if the situation was right I would love to go back to the Seahawks,” Lane said, via Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times. “They were the team to give me my first opportunity to showcase my skills in the NFL and I appreciate them. They would be my number one choice I would go to if they were the right choice for me and my family.”

Lane added that he’s excited for the process overall, but isn’t sure what will happen.

“It’s not as bad as it was coming out of college,’’ Lane said. “I’m excited about the process. I don’t know what’s going to happen but I did pretty well while I was with the Seahawks and I’m just back in Texas (he’s a native of Tyler, Texas) just enjoying the process.’’

Lane, 26, was taken in the sixth-round of the 2012 Draft by the Seahawks. He’s played out his rookie contract and is now in position to be an unrestricted free agent in the coming weeks.

Lane, unfortunately, missed the first 10 weeks of the 2015 season due to a serious knee injury he suffered in the Super Bowl a few years ago.

In 2015, Lane appeared in six games and recorded 13 tackles, two interceptions and six pass defenses.

We have him featured in our Top 100 – 2016 Free Agents list.
