Bills RB LeSean McCoy Not Expected To Be Charged In Nightclub Incident?

Update:

Vic Carucci of the Buffalo News, citing a source close to LeSean McCoy, reports that the Bills’ running back is not expect to be charged in nightclub brawl.

However, someone who was with him that and was involved in the incident could be.

This would be a great news for McCoy and the Bills, who were reportedly planning as if McCoy was going to miss “several games” once his current legal case is settled.

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reported that the Bills were likely to either sign or draft a running back to bolster their depth at the position should McCoy, in fact, receive a suspension from the NFL.

McCoy, 27, will be entering the second year of his five-year, $40 million contract that included $26.05 million guaranteed. He stands to make a base salary of $4.8 million for the 2016 season.

In 2015, McCoy appeared in 12 games for the Bills and ran for 895 yards on 203 carries (4.4 YPC) to go along with 32 receptions for 292 yards receiving and five total touchdowns for the Bills. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 31 running back out of 67 qualifying players.

We’ll have more updates regarding the Bills and McCoy as the news becomes available.
