Jets, Raiders, & 49ers Could Have Interest In OL Kelechi Osemele?

Tony Pauline reports that Ravens free agent OL Kelechi Osemele is in line for a big pay day in the coming weeks.

While recent reports have said that the Ravens are making an aggressive push to re-sign Osemele, Pauline mentions that he’ll likely have interest from the Jets, Raiders, and 49ers if he ends up testing the open market.

Pauline points out that the Jets were actually in on Mike Iupati last year, but weren’t willing to meet his asking price of around $8 million per year.

Osemele, 26, was taken in the second round of the 2012 NFL Draft by the Ravens. He has one year remaining on his four-year, $3.34 million rookie contract and stands to make a base salary of $846,255 for the 2015 season.

In 2015, Osemele has appeared in 14 games for the Ravens and is rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 18 offensive tackle out of 77 qualifying players.

We have him featured in our Top 100 – 2016 Free Agents list.
