Rand Getlin of NFL Media reports that the Steelers and WR Darrius Heyward-Bey have agreed to a multi-year contract extension.

Getlin adds that Heyward-Bey had multiple suitors, but believes Pittsburgh is special and has a lot of confidence in the team moving forward.
Heyward-Bey, 29, has spent the past two season in Pittsburgh and was set to be an unrestricted free agent in the coming days.
In 2015, Heyward-Bey appeared in all 16 games for the Steelers and recorded 21 receptions for 314 yards receiving and two touchdowns.
