NFL Rumors: Cowboys, Panthers, Raiders, & Texans

Cowboys

• Todd Archer mentions that the Cowboys aren’t interested in pursuing QB Robert Griffin III.
• Archer adds that Johnny Manziel, once he’s release, won’t be an option for Dallas either.
• However, Archer writes that the possibility at least exists that the Cowboys could keep Kellen Moore as their backup quarterback and consider drafting Jared Goff or Carson Wentz.
• If Dallas wanted to wait until the middle to late rounds, Archer suggests taking someone like Dak Prescott and let Moore open the year as the backup.

Panthers

• Joe Person reports that the Panthers have informed free agent WR Jerricho Cotchery he’s not in their future plans.

Raiders

• Mike Garafolo reports that the Raiders are trying to re-sign WR Andre Holmes before the market opens.
• However, the sense right now is that Holmes will have a decent amount interest from other teams.

Texans

• Aaron Wilson reports that the Texans would like to re-sign restricted free agent RB Jonathan Grimes to a new contract.
