Tim McManus of PhillyMag is reporting that the Eagles are expected to re-sign free agent CB Nolan Carroll to a one-year deal.

  • Rand Getlin reports that the Eagles have signed Carroll to a one-year deal with a base value of $2.36 million to go along with a max value of $3 million.

Carroll visited with the Cowboys last week, but there hasn’t been much of an update regarding him until now.

Carroll, 29, is former fifth-round pick of the Dolphins back in 2010. He played out his rookie contract with Miami and later signed a two-year deal with the Eagles.

His season came to an end after he suffered a broken right ankle during their Week 11 game.

In 2015, Carroll appeared in 11 games and recorded 57 tackles, two interceptions with one beign returned for a touchdown and 10 pass defenses. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 53 cornerback out of 111 qualifying players.
