15 Teams Reportedly Interested In CFL WR Duron Carter

Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports reports that CFL WR Duron Carter will hold a Pro Day in Florida for NFL teams in January.

Once the Pro Day is complete, Carter is expected to begin visiting with teams. According to La Canfora, Carter has 15 teams interested in him at this point in time.

  • La Canfora previously reported that the Colts, Seahawks and 49ers are all “very interested” in signing him to a contract if his off-the-field issues are no longer a concern.
  • Mary Kay Cabot reported that the Browns will work out Carter at some point.

Carter’s contract with the Montreal Alouettes ended last week and he is now able to make visits with the NFL teams, but it sounds like he’s going to wait until after his Pro Day to do so. This would give him time to heal up from the season of football he just played and get back to being 100 percent.

It’s worth mentioning that Carter cannot sign with an NFL team until next February.

Carter, 23, caught 75 passes for 1,030 yards and seven touchdowns to go along with 40 yards rushing.
