Ravens Reportedly Targeting Joey Bosa, Pass Rushers At No. 6 Overall

Jamison Hensley of ESPN reports that the Ravens are focused on Ohio State’s Joey Bosa and other pass-rushers at No. 6 overall.

Hensley mentions that the Ravens are looking to pair Bosa with veteran edge-rushers like Terrell Suggs and Elvis Dumervil, who are both in their 30s.

Baltimore reportedly isn’t concerned about Bosa’s ability to play outside linebacker in a 3-4, even though he operated as a 4-3 defensive end in college.

Hensley’s source added that if Bosa is no longer on the board by the time they’re on the clock, the Ravens are likely to consider Clemson’s Shaq Lawson or Georgia’s Leonard Floyd.

There has been some talk about Bosa being taken as high as No. 4 overall by the Cowboys, given that they have a couple defensive ends in line to serve suspensions at the start of the season. Although, Dallas will have options to consider such as taking DB Jalen Ramsey or RB Ezekiel Elliott.

Should the Cowboys pass on Bosa, he’d still have to get by the Jaguars, but there’s at least a shot the Ravens could come away from Thursday’s round one with their guy.

We’ll have more regarding the Ravens and potential targets as the news is available.
