Bills Signing LT Cordy Glenn To A Five-Year, $65M Extension

Adam Schefter reports that the Bills and franchise OT Cordy Glenn have reached agreement on a five-year extension.

  • Ian Rapoport reports that Glenn receives a five-year deal worth $65 million and includes $36 million guaranteed.
  • Glenn gets $19 million in 2016 and $30 million over the first two years of the deal.
  • According to Rapoport, $26.5 million is fully guaranteed.

Bills GM Doug Whaley mentioned earlier in the day that they planned to begin working extensions for Glenn, CB Stephon Gilmore, and QB Tyrod Taylor now that the draft is over.

Glenn, 26, was taken in the second-round of the 2012 NFL draft. He played out his four-year, $4,865,180 rookie contract before the Bills used their franchise tag on him, which would have run them $13.7 million fully guaranteed for the 2016 season.

In 2015, Glenn appeared in all 16 games for the Bills and was rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 10 offensive tackle out of 76 qualifying players.
