26 Teams Will Attend Virginia Tech CB Adonis Alexander’s Pro Day

According to Mike Garafolo, 26 teams are expected to be in attendance for Virginia Tech CB Adonis Alexander‘s Pro Day on Tuesday.

Garafolo says that the supplemental draft prospect has seven meetings lined up with NFL teams as well as a visit on Tuesday.

Bryan Broaddus gave Alexander a fourth-round grade and many expect him to be selected in this year’s Supplemental Draft next month.

Alexander has reportedly had off-field issues but offers great size at 6-3, talent and a high upside. Virginia Tech recently dismissed Alexander.

The Supplement Draft will be held on July 11.

Alexander played three seasons at Virginia Tech and recorded 125 tackles, 4.5 tackles for a loss, one sack, seven interceptions, 17 pass defenses, and a forced fumble over the course of 32 games.

The last player taken in a supplement draft came back in 2015 when the Rams elected to use a fifth-round pick on OT Isaiah Battle. Before that, the Browns used a second-round pick on WR Josh Gordon back in 2012.

We’ll have more regarding Alexander and the supplemental draft as the news is available.
