Gil Brandt has Beal’s Pro Day results:
- Height: 6-0 7/8 Weight: 178 (187 in spring)
- 40-yard dash: 4.47/4.55
- Vertical Jump: 37
- Broad Jump: 10-6 ‘
- Short shuttle: 4.09
- 3-cone: 7.11
- Bench: DNP
The expectation has been that Beal will not only be selected in the Supplement draft could end up being a mid-round pick.
According to Brandt, the teams to watch for Beal are teams with multiple mid-round picks such as the Browns and Bills.
Beal is one of four players eligible to be selected this year along with Mississippi State S Brandon Bryant, Oregon State DE/OLB Bright Ugwoegbu and Virginia Tech CB Adonis Alexander.
The Supplemental draft will be held on July 11.
Beal recorded 92 tackles, two tackles for a loss, two interceptions, 19 pass defenses and a forced fumble over the course of three seasons at Western Michigan and 32 games played.
