49ers Activate S Marcell Harris & LB Dekoda Watson From Injured Reserve

The San Francisco 49ers announced that they’ve activated S Marcell Harris and LB Dekoda Watson from injured reserve on Thursday ahead of their game against the Raiders.

Harris, 24, was selected in the sixth round of this year’s NFL draft by the 49ers. He was placed on injured reserve coming out of the preseason with a hamstring injury before being designated to return a few weeks ago.

During his college career at Florida, Harris recorded 102 tackles, one sack, two interceptions, a pass defense, a forced fumble, a recovery and one defensive touchdown over the course of four years and 27 games.

Watson, 30, is a former seventh-round pick of the Buccaneers back in 2010. He wound up playing out his rookie contract with the team before signings on with the Jaguars in March of 2014.
After brief stints with the Cowboys, Patriots and Broncos, Watson signed a three-year, $6 million contract that included $1 million guaranteed with the 49ers last year. He stands to make base salaries of $1.05 million and $1.45 million over the next two year.
In 2017, appeared in 14 games and recorded eight tackles and no sacks.
