49ers, Browns, Jets & Patriots Could Be Options For Free Agent S Mike Adams?

Free agent S Mike Adams tells Alex Marvez of Sirius XM NFL Radio that the 49ers, Browns, Jets and Patriots could be potential landing spots for him.

However, Adams added that the door has been closed in regards to him re-signing with the Broncos.

Adams, 33, hasn’t found any reported interest this offseason, so it appears as though he is suggesting teams he believes have a need at safety.

The Browns  and Jets could probably use some depth at free safety, but it’s hard to imagine that they would view him as much more than a role player at this point in his career.

Last year, Adams appeared in all 16 games and totaled 63 tackles, seven pass defenses, an interception and a fumble recovery. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 41 safety in the league last season.
