49ers CB Shareece Wright Seeking Trade Or Release

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that 49ers CB Shareece Wright is looking to either be traded or released.

This comes a day after Wright expressed frustration after he was inactive for the third straight game.

Wright later tweeted “politics as usual” before deleting the post, so it was clear that he was bothered by the situation, per Matt Maiocco.

Wright, 28, signed a one-year, $3 million contract with the 49ers back in March that included another $1 million available through incentives. He stands to make a base salary of $850,000 for the 2015 season.

In 2014, Wright appeared in 14 games and recorded 60 tackles and 10 pass defenses for the 49ers. However, he has yet to appear in a game this season.
