The San Francisco 49ers officially claimed DE Taylor Hart off of waivers from the 49ers and waived DB L.J.McCray on Monday.
- The 49ers also waived WR DeAndre Smelter from injured reserve with a settlement.
Hart, 25, is a former fifth-round pick of the Eagles back in 2014. He’s currently in the third year of his four-year, $2,435,512 rookie contract, which included a $215,512 signing bonus.
Hart stands to make base salaries of $600,000 and $690,000 over the next two years.
In 2015, Hart appeared in 14 games for the Eagles and recorded 27 tackles and no sacks. Pro Football Focus had him rated as the No. 122 interior defensive lineman out of 123 qualifying players last year.
