The San Francisco 49ers officially claimed WR Tim Patrick off of waivers from the Ravens and waived WR B.J. Johnson with an injury designation.
Patrick, 23, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent out of Utah back in May. He stands to make base salaries of $465,000 and $555,00 over the first two years of the agreement.
During his college career at Utah, Patrick caught 61 passes for 888 yards receiving and five touchdowns over the course of 18 games.
