49ers Cut Veteran OL Adam Snyder

Matt Maiocco of CSN Bay Area reports that the 49ers have released veteran OL Adam Snyder as they work to get down to 53 players.

Snyder, 32, still had one year remaining on his two-year, $2.45 million contract and was set to make a base salary of $1 million for the 2014 season.

Last year, he appeared in all 16 games for San Francisco, so it’s interesting to see them part ways with an interior offensive lineman. According to Pro Football Focus, Snyder played 345 snaps last season, but was rated as the No. 40 guard out of 81 qualifying players.
