Mike Garafolo of FOX Sports reports that the 49ers fear RB Reggie Bush sustained a torn ACL during Sunday’s loss to the Rams.

After the game, Bush was seen on crutches, so indications were that this could be a major injury for him. If further tests on Bush’s knee confirm the news, he would obviously miss the remainder of the season.

Bush slipped on the concrete that lines the outer wall of the field, which happens to be same thing Browns QB Josh McCown slipped on last week. Bush was later carted to the locker room to his knee evaluated.

After the game, Bush was seen on crutches, so indications were that this could be a major injury for him.

Bush, 30, signed a one-year, $2.5 million contract with the 49ers back in March that included $1.1 million guaranteed. He’ll be an unrestricted free agent again next year.

Entering today’s game, Bush had appeared in four games and ran for 28 yards on eight carries (3.5 YPC) to go along with four receptions for 19 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
