Matt Maiocco of the CSN Bay Area reports that the San Francisco 49ers have WR’s Michael Crabtree and Randy Moss sitting atop their current depth chart.
“Without fail, every teammate and coach had glowing praise” for Moss, writes Maiocco.
This coincides with a number of previous reports. Mario Manningham figures to be the team’s No. 3 receiver after signing a two-year deal worth $7.375 million. First-round pick A.J. Jenkins has been a disappointment thus far, as his conditioning has reportedly been his biggest issue. Kyle Williams has looked better than expected, so he has a shot a securing a roster spot, despite his poor performance during the championship game last year.
