49ers Hosting RB Leonard Fournette For Visit This Week

Matt Maiocco of CSN Bay Area reports that the 49ers have scheduled a pre-draft visit with LSU RB Leonard Fournette for this week.

The 49ers have been tossed out as a team to watch for Fournette, especially if they’re able to trade out of the No. 2 overall pick, which they’ve said they’re open to doing.

Fournette previously visited with the Panthers, Jaguars, Eagles and Saints.

Leonard, 22, is arguably the No. 1 running back prospect in what’s considered by many to the deepest running back class in a number of years.

During his college career at LSU, Fournette has rushed for 3,380 yards on 616 carries (6.2 YPC) to go along with 41 receptions for 526 yards receiving and 41 total touchdowns over the course of 32 games.

We have him being selected by the Panthers in the First Round of our 2017 NFL Mock Draft.
