49ers Place RB Carlos Hyde On Season-Ending I.R.

The San Francisco 49ers announced that they’ve placed RB Carlos Hyde on season-ending injured reserve Saturday.

Indications were that Hyde’s 2015 season was likely over, as he has missed a number of weeks due to a foot injury.

Hyde, 24, is in the second year of his four-year, $3.681 million rookie contract that includes $1.954 million guaranteed. He;ll make a base salary of $537,439 this season and another $654,698 in 2016.

His 2015 season comes to an end with him appearing in seven games and rushing for 470 yards on 115 carries (4.1 YPC) to go along with 11 receptions for 53 yards receiving and three total touchdowns.
