49ers Promote RB DuJuan Harris, Waive DL Taylor Hart

According to Matt Maiocco, the 49ers promoted RB DuJuan Harris from their practice squad to the active roster and waived DL Taylor Hart in a corresponding roster move.

Harris, 28, originally signed on with the Jaguars as an undrafted free agent free agent out of Troy back in 2011. He was later claimed off of waivers by the Steelers before catching on with the Packers in October of 2012.

After a few years in Green Bay, Harris has had brief stints with the Vikings and Saints before joining the Seahawks’ practice squad.

Seattle cut him loose towards the end of last year, but he later signed on to the Ravens’ practice squad. It was soon after that he was signed to the 49ers’ active roster. He’s been on and off the team’s active roster multiple times this season.

In 2015, Harris has appeared in four games and ran for 189 yards on 48 carries (3.9 YPC) and lost a fumble.
