The San Francisco 49ers have announced that they have reached an agreement with free agent OLB Ahmad Brooks that will keep him in San Francisco through the 2017 season.
ESPN’s Josina Anderson reports that the contract has a maximum value of $44.5 million.
We’re still waiting to see what the specifics of the deal are so you’ll have to check back in a little a while.
The NFL Network’s Jason LaCanfora reported earlier in the day that 49ers were “deep in talks” with Brooks but it really didn’t take very long for the deal to get done.
