The San Francisco 49ers announced Wednesday that they’ve re-signed DBÂ Antone Exum Jr.
Exum, 27, is a former sixth-round pick by the Vikings in the 2014 NFL Draft. He was entering the final year of a four-year, $2,335,788 rookie contract and was set to make a base salary of $690,000 for the 2017 season when the team waived him a few weeks into last season.
The 49ers later signed Exum to a one-year contract in November and he finished out the season in San Francisco.
In 2017, Exum appeared in two games and recorded three tackles and no interceptions or pass defenses.
