49ers Re-Sign RB DuJuan Harris, Placed CB Will Redmond On I.R.

The San Francisco 49ers announced Monday that they’ve re-signed RB DuJuan Harris and placed CB Will Redmond on injured reserve.

Harris, 28, originally signed on with the Jaguars as an signed undrafted free agent free agent out of Troy back in 2011. He was later claimed off of waivers by the Steelers before catching on with the Packers in October of 2012.

After a few years in Green Bay, Harris has had brief stints with the Vikings and Saints before joining the Seahawks’ practice squad a few weeks ago.

Seattle cut him loose towards the end of last year, but he later signed on to the Ravens’ practice squad. It was soon after that the he was signed to the 49ers’ active roster.

Unfortunately, the 49ers cut him loose this past weekend.

In 2015, Harris has appeared in four games and ran for 189 yards on 48 carries (3.9 YPC) and lost a fumble.
