Williams, 24, is a former fourth-round pick of the 49ers back in 2017. The 49ers actually traded a 2017 fourth-round pick and a 2018 fifth-round pick to acquire Williams.
Williams is in the second year of his four-year rookie contract worth $3,029,384 that includes a signing bonus of $629,384 and stands to make base salaries of $555,000 and $645,000 over the next two years.
During his college career at Utah, Williams rushed for 1,884 yards on 314 carries to go along with 20 receptions for 191 yards receiving and 13 total touchdowns over the course of two seasons.
