Goldson said that he would be “shocked” if he’s not back in San Francisco next season.
“I think those guys are excited about me being there and I’m sure they want me back,” Goldson said. “They’ve expressed how much they want me back. I want to be back there.”
Goldson, 27, made the Pro Bowl for the first time in his career this season and managed a career high in interceptions with six last season. Reports have mentioned that the 49ers are considering using their franchise tag on him but there’s still a chance that they could tag Carlos Rogers who will also be a free agent in March.
