The 49ers have signed C Brian Folkerts and WR Andrew Turzilli to their practice squad on Tuesday, per Eric Branch of the San Francisco Chronicle.
With the 49ers trading C Nick Easton to the Vikings for LB Gerald Hodges, Folkerts provides some added depth while C Daniel Kilgore remains on the physically unable to perform list.
Folkerts, 25, was among the Panthers’ final roster cuts in September. Though he appeared in all 16 games last season, he only recorded 41 total offensive snaps.
Turzilli, 24, is an undrafted rookie who was among the Titans’ final roster cuts. During the preseason, he reeled in one reception for 12 yards.
Neither of the two players have appeared in a regular season game in 2015.
